Sisterly Love

I realized today that since I've spent 6 weeks in bed throwing up, my kids pictures have been sorely neglected. I finally lugged my heavy camera to Lake Elizabeth in Fremont today and took a few shots. I was SO exhausted from walking around the huge park! I have absolutely no stamina - not looking forward to labor! I was so happy to get this shot because I didn't pose them! Yes, they're sweaty and Audrey's hair is all over her face...but Audrey just naturally put her arm around Kiki and Kiki in turn put her hand on her sister's leg. So cute! Hope they will be this good with their new sibling!

Sneak peek for the Park Family

It has been a long time since my last post. I have a good excuse though! I've been in the trenches of morning sickness and am finally starting to see the light. It felt so good to get back to work with a mini portrait session for my friend. Her mom was visiting for a short time and wanted to get some pictures of her 2 girls with their grandmother. We did a short session in the studio for some traditional portraits and I'm looking forward to part 2 of our session when we let loose and have some fun outside!

Newest Album Sample is Here!

I am so excited to offer this luxury 10x10 album! The cover is made of 100% full-grain, natural leather and comes in 7 beautiful colors. I ordered mine in Passion Pink. The pages are full spread (no cut or gutter line down the middle) and the binding lays perfectly flat. Each page is 2mm thick and the album has a substantial feel to it. Each album comes with a dust cover for extra protection. The smaller albums you see are called 'Little Kisses' which are exact copies of your Kiss album - just smaller. They are great for giving to friends and family or to keep in your purse to show off!

Bad bad blogger!

I must be the worst blogger in internet history. Ok, maybe that's a bit dramatic. Considering how much I love to talk, you would think I have a lot to say but I've been really bad at keeping fresh content on here!

Well, I do have an update on JMP. I've been ordering a lot of samples (albums, photo boxes, metallic canvas prints) and I can't wait to share them with you. My Kiss Album should arrive tomorrow (woo hoo!!! You don't know how excited I am about this album. Ask Danny. He'll tell you how much I've been talking about this album.) My finao album is set to arrive next week and my photo box should arrive in about 3 weeks. I have no clue when the canvases are coming in but you'll probably hear me screaming in excitement.

I'm a bad blogger but once I have all my samples, I'll be a good blogger. I promise. Uh, I'll try.

Spring is in the air

We actually had a break from the rain this week! The girls were so happy to spend some time outside. The sun was going down so I didn't have much light left to take a lot of photos. Here's one of Kiki riding her tricycle. I love her pigtails...I know the time will come when she refuses to let me do her hair so I have to immortalize these moments! This is a pic of Audrey right before bedtime. I was feeling "vintagey" and processed the photo to look aged. Where did she get those big eyes from? It sure wasn't from me!

My baby is growing up

Ok, technically K isn't a baby but she's still my baby. Just a few months ago, trying to take portraits in the studio was a workout - I'd have to chase after her and maybe I'd get a couple of good shots. Now, she totally posed for me and when I told her we were done, she kept saying she wanted more pictures! This little girl loves being in front of the camera!

Fun to be 4

My kids are sooooo sick of me taking their pictures but I just have to capture every single moment of their  lives. The problem is that their pictures get neglected while I'm working on other people's portraits! I took these pics back in November and I can already see how she's changed in 3 months. I love how she's posing me for me and still showing her silly side.
