Girl Power!

Ever since I had my third daughter, I've been envisioning a photo shoot with all of them in matching dresses. I was the mom that said I would never make my kids match but when I saw these Easter dresses available in all of their sizes, I couldn't resist. Easter ended up being way too cold so I had my girls dress up in these flowery outfits last week. The weather was gorgeous and just as the sun was setting, (love, love, love the diffused light right before sunset) I took the girls outside for some pictures - a wonderful photographer (aka my husband) even snapped some shots of me with the girls! I'm thinking about making the above collage into a huge 30x30 canvas to put in our play room. I'm running out of wall space in my house...is it weird that I wish my house didn't have so many windows?!

Jennifer's Dol Celebration

J's parents put in so much time and creativity in making her first party a beautiful event.  Good food, good friends - what more could you ask for? Well, for J, she rang in her first birthday by sticking her hands right into her cake. Hey, it's her birthday - she can do whatever she wants!

4 months- rolling over!

Where did my baby go?? Ellie is growing up too fast! She rolled over for the first time yesterday during this impromptu photo shoot. My friend gave me this adorable yellow dress and hat and I just had to take some pics of her in it. I was shocked that she kept the hat on but as you can see, she was a much happier baby after I took everything off. I love her thighs, the rolls on her arms and back and the hair that sticks straight up!
