As 2009 comes to a close, we want to take this opportunity to share with you another "slideshow Christmas card" of of our 3 girls. Yes, the Moon Clan household is growing! Audrey (5) started kindergarten and loves to read, write, and draw. She is our little artist. Kaylee (3 1/2) started preschool and loves to color and do crafts. Most of all, she likes to eat. :) Baby Eliza was born in November and has already filled our house with so much joy (and crying). She likes to eat, and sleep.

Sneak Peek for Vavra/Fry Family {San Ramon, Alamo, Danville Family Photographer}

I had my first portrait session yesterday - without my pregnant belly! It felt so nice to be able to walk without pain and to be mobile enough to walk up hills and on play structures. Also, M & K were so well behaved that I didn't have to do any running or chasing so it was a great transition back to work. To sum up the photo shoot, M told me, "This is like taking pictures at school, but more fun." This is why I love my job.

Portfolio updated

All 3 girls are sleeping and hubby is out having dinner with his cousin...so what do I do? I finally updated my portfolio! Woo hoo! I chose some of my favorite pictures from my sessions and I ended up with over 100 in the gallery. Hope you like them! Oh, and starting in 2010 I will have an updated pricing guide, faq's and there will be some changes in gallery hosting time frame. Details to come...

Eliza is here! {San Ramon Baby Photographer}

My little girl arrived 3 weeks early and it's been a joy having a newborn baby again. Fortunately, she's a really good sleeper! I love holding her and I already know how spoiled she's going to be...I have to appreciate these moments because I know the time will come when she doesn't want me to hold her anymore. My recovery is going really well so I'll be back to work in a week or so!

I spent a beautiful fall evening with the Peters family at Oak Hill Park. I know - I said I was on maternity leave, but now I'm REALLY on maternity leave. I felt much better so I took on one more photo shoot and I'm so glad I did. Little J & S were so great - I really didn't have to move around too much and they gave me the sweetest smiles. G & J- thanks so much for trusting an "about to burst" pregnant photographer for your family portraits! Rosanna- thanks for the referral!!

Sneak Peek for (another) Yang Family {San Ramon, Dublin Family Photographer}

The Yang Family returned this year for their Holiday Portraits. What a difference a year makes - the kids have grown up so much, esp little "MM". Last year, she just stayed in one place making it easy for me - this year, she had lots of fun running away from me! "A" got into character and showed me all the Jedi moves - if only I was cool enough to have some Jedi moves of my own....but then I would've probably gone into labor. :) Thanks R & J for trusting me once again to capture your beautiful family!

Yesterday, I got a glimpse of what my life is going to be like very soon. H's boys are the same age as my girls and she has a 3 month old baby girl. This little girl is going to be showered with love by her brothers! Since I am now on semi maternity leave, I have hired a new photographer to work with me. Ok, maybe hired isn't the right word since it's my husband. Luckily, he'll work for food. :) Actually, my hubby and I started out doing wedding photography together so he is very, very qualified to take over for me while I am doing my best to keep baby in my tummy and avoid pre term labor.

Looks like I'm keeping this post all in the family - the pics above are of my sister and her hubby and their 2 kids. Enjoy! I will try to finish editing the pics before I deliver!

There are 4 color options: black, cherry, bronze, or iron - 2 inch solid wood molding. You can order the frames with or without acrylic or with a double white acid free and archival mat with acrylic. My very own diaper cake!

Ok, the diaper cake isn't really mine...it's for my third daughter, Eliza. My wonderful church group threw me a special baby shower yesterday and I just had to share pics of the beautiful diaper cake that my sis in law and good friend made me. I already told them that I refuse to take this diaper cake apart - it's just too cute! Audrey already asked if she could read the book on the top and I told her no because I can't bear to take it out! Thank you!!! I love it!

Little H came in for her 6 month portraits and she just lit up for the camera! With those big brown eyes and adorable smile, I just couldn't help but smile as I was shooting her (according to my daughter, I shouldn't be 'shooting' people. sorry!). Having 2 girls of my own and expecting another one, I think sisters are just 'oh so special.' I will be capturing H as she grows up during the next year and I can't wait to see how much she grows.

Being 7 1/2 months pregnant, I was a little worried about how I would be able to chase after kids and do my usual climbing, jumping, crazy movements that I usually do. L & K made this portrait session so easy for me! They were so calm and followed directions so easily. It was so great to see siblings getting along so well - of course mom told me that this isn't always the case. :) I had to add the picture of K giving L "the look" while L looks smug and guilty. Enjoy!

New Backdrops

I'm so excited about these 2 backdrops that arrived yesterday! Since my youngest was at school, my oldest daughter was forced to be my model again as I wanted to test out how the backdrops would photograph. Her outfit didn't match but I knew I couldn't get her to change since I had to beg beg beg her to take a couple of shots for me. She said she would do it only if I gave her dessert afterwards! She's only 4 and she's already negotiating! I wanted a better picture of the black background but she announced that she was done and threw her hat across the room. When my little diva tells me I'm done, I'm done. Hopefully I'll get another opportunity to test out these awesome backdrops!

I've been so busy that I haven't been able to update my main website in a long time. I finally added a Holiday Card section with some of the designs I'm offering this season. I have many more designs so if you'd like to see hard copy samples, let me know!

Caitlyn's Dol Celebration {San Ramon Dol Korean First Birthday Photographer}

Last weekend was another fabulous dol (1st birthday) celebration. My friend, B has been planning for months and the outcome was beautiful! You can see all the work she put into the details - B, you really are the Queen Bee! Keep everything- I'm borrowing it all next November!

This past weekend was my nephew's first birthday celebration. My sister in law did an awesome job decorating the venue with elaborate centerpieces and favors. S, can I hire you to coordinate #3's dol next year? Just thinking about planning another dol makes me tired...

I had a great time this weekend with the Lee Family as they returned for Little C's dol portraits. I've been fortunate enough to be able to photograph her since she was just 9 weeks old. I can't believe she's already going to be 1! She still looks exactly like her daddy!

Sneak Peek for Moon Family

I had a fun morning with J&J yesterday as we braved the summer heat for their 2 year portraits. We tried looking for snails, and they made me a lot of yummy food with sand (ice cream, bap & gim, pizza, milk). Yes, all I ever do is think of food! Thanks Moon family for letting me capture this precious 'just turned 2' time with the twins.
