I am really excited to announce my new website! I've been wanting to consolidate my blog and website into one easy to view site and my husband made it all come together. This blog will no longer be updated - head on over to my new site and let me know what you think. It's still coming together piece by piece so please let me know if there are things that are a little buggy.

Sneak Peek for L family {San Ramon Family Photographer}

The L family girls are seasoned pros! I've been photographing them since baby C was 3 months old and now she's 3 years old already. She wanted to show me what a good helper she was by carrying all of their coats from the park to the parking lot. She kept looking back at me to make sure I was watching - so cute! By the end of the session, all the girls were saying, "take a picture of me doing this!" That jumping picture above? It was all their idea!

It's almost Halloween but here at JMP, we're ready for Christmas. The Y family came out completely decked out with santa hats - even baby A and he actually kept it on! What a great idea to do an extended family portrait for the holidays!

I first photographed the V family 2 years ago and it was so fun to see them again! They suffered through the 85 degree heatwave we've been having without a complaint. The girls were so sweet and they totally rocked their black shiny boots - love them!  

Sneak Peek for L Family {Fremont Family Photographer}

Can't tell from the pictures, but the park was all set up for a Halloween pumpkin festival right before the L family arrived for their holiday session. One of the things I love about Shinn Park is that there are so many different areas that serve as beautiful backdrops for pictures, so we were able to avoid all the Halloween decor without a problem. There is also plenty of room for boys to run around and climb trees! I actually didn't have to do any running around with these 3 boys - they were really well behaved! Look at those smiles!

Little *J* and I had so much fun exploring all the areas of Shinn Park. Even though it was a warm, sunny day we tried to envision Santa Claus, presents and hot chocolate and get in the holiday spirit. Maybe I need to bring a fake snow machine out next year? :)

Sneak Peek for F Family {San Ramon Family Photographer}

I've been photographing the F family for 3 years now and it's so fun to see how the kids change from year to  year. I wasn't sure what to expect with little *T* now that he's walking but he was so well behaved. At one point, I was trailing behind taking pictures and he stopped and turned back to make sure I was coming with them! Yes, he loves me that much and that's what I want to believe and I'm sticking to it! :) Miss *K* is such a natural beauty - the camera LOVES her.

Holiday Cards 2011 {San Ramon Holiday Portrait Photographer}

Temperatures have been in the high 80's and even '90s during the past couple of weeks. It sure doesn't seem like the holidays are just around the corner. Although I prefer the hot weather to freezing my butt off, I am hoping fall comes soon. My holiday sessions start in 3 weeks and if this weather doesn't change, all my clients will be shorts and tank tops for their holiday portraits! I guess that's the beauty of being in California!
Well, although the hot sun outside is making me think of lounging at the beach (actually, I think I'm rather content sitting in an air-conditioned room), let's switch gears and think of Christmas! This year, I have 25 unique designs to offer my clients. I'm really excited to offer boutique cards and newsletter cards for the first time. First pony ride

Little A celebrated his first birthday in style! His parents put together such an incredible dol/korean first birthday party at Wente Vineyards. There were so many fun activities for the kids, from pony rides to a magic show with bunnies and birds. Lolliparty did a fabulous job styling the party with all the traditional Korean elements. Happy birthday Andrew! Thank you for letting me celebrate this special day with you!

End of Summer Break {San Ramon Family Photographer}

So sad to see summer break coming to an end. The kids have really enjoyed the relaxed schedule and so have I! Gotta get used to waking up early again...

Sneak Peek for SR: {Berkeley, San Ramon Maternity Photographer}

I met beautiful mom to be, SR in Tilden Park in Berkeley. I was getting nervous while driving up the hill because the fog was so thick and the temperature dropped dramatically as I neared our meeting spot. Fortunately, the fog cleared and all that was left was a gorgeous setting for maternity portraits. I always say this, but I'm so lucky to have clients who are so stylish and pick the perfect outfits. SR is almost 8 months pregnant and looks fabulous!

21 months {San Ramon Photographer}

E hides her hands behind her back when she doesn't want me to hold her hand.

I realized today that E is now 21 months! In just a few short months, she'll be 2 and my baby will be no longer be a baby. Ok, so she's not really a baby right now but in my eyes she will always be "Baby E." She is heading right into the terrible 2s and compared to some of the attitude that my 5 and 6 year old girls give me, the tantrums and crying don't seem too bad! I took E out for a short walk today in hopes that a change of scenery would help her mood and she was so excited to ride her bike. Of course, I ended up pushing it most of the way while E wanted to be held!

2011 Holiday Mini Sessions {San Ramon Family Photographer}

It's that time of year. Not for vacations or back to school shopping. It's time to start planning for holiday portraits! This year, I'll be offering 4 mini session dates in October. Reserve your session time by the end of August and receive 2 complimentary 5x7 mounted prints of your choice from your holiday gallery. A $75 deposit is due to reserve your spot (applied to package).

Can't wait to see my past clients - love seeing how much the kids have grown. Yes, I am that annoying auntie that keeps saying, "you've grown so much!" Excited to meet new families as well. Mini sessions are great to get a few special portraits to mark the end of the year.
